She has a passion not just for her own dance but for sharing it with others and is very committed to helping develop the local dance sector.

Chhaya Collective are committed to delivering engaging, challenging and explorative workshops for Colleges and Higher Education Institutions. Each session will involve Contemporary Technique training, Repertoire from Chhaya Collective's current production, skill sharing, partner work and contact techniques, floor work, creative tasks and an introduction to Indian Contemporary dance practices, with reference to the current Arts culture in India and UK.
Chhaya Collective workshops are run by dance artists Kay Crook and Ajeesh Balakrishnan. Kay and Ajeesh have taught internationally for institutions in Amsterdam, South Korea, France, Belgium, Canada, India and UK. Chhaya Collective offer a selection of workshops, contemporary technique classes and residencies, delivered to Higher Education Institutions, dance schools, local schools, community groups and professional development institutions.
